GENERAL TERMS, WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS & SHIPPING

Returns & Exchange:

• All sales made through us are considered final. Returns due to a change of mind may be accommodated at the sole discretion of A&B Motorsports Pty Ltd's management team. Such returns must involve products that are unused and in their original packaging. A refund will be issued only after the returned item has been received and thoroughly inspected by our technician's team at the A&B Motorsports Pty Ltd headquarters.
• The customer is responsible for any shipping costs associated with returns or exchanges. Should the technical team confirm that the returned product retains its original condition, a refund for shipping costs may be negotiated as part of the settlement.
• Our products are specifically crafted to align with OEM specifications. We will not issue refunds or exchanges if our product is applied incorrectly. To avoid any fitment uncertainties, we advise contacting us directly for guidance upon receiving the order or commencing installation.

Damaged Products:

• We prioritise the safety and security of your product during shipment, yet we acknowledge that accidents can occur. Should any damage arise during transit, we urge you to contact us immediately with detailed information about the damage so we can assist you through our return procedure.
• Our warranty does not extend to any damage resulting from incorrect installation of our products. Please be aware that our products can change the clearance, handling, or performance of your vehicle.
• Damage deemed as ‘normal wear and tear’ falls outside our coverage. The classification of 'normal' is subject to the discernment of A&B Motorsports Pty Ltd's management, who will consider the specific context of each situation.
• It’s important to consider your driving environment, as damage caused by adverse weather or external conditions is not eligible for coverage under our terms.

These examples highlight potential damages that might occur with the usage of your vehicle. If you believe your product has been damaged through no fault of your own, we encourage you to get in touch with us.

WARRANTY

Duration:

• A&B Motorsports warrants that all Goods will be free from defects in material and workmanship. Goods are covered with a warranty for a period of twelve months from the date of purchase by the Customer (Warranty Period). Where A&B Motorsports determines that the warranty applies, A&B Motorsports will at its decision, repair, refund or replace the Goods pursuant to its obligations under the Consumer Law.
• All defective Goods replaced by A&B Motorsports under this warranty will be deemed to be the property of A&B Motorsports.

 

Where this Warranty Applies:

• This warranty covers only manufacturing defects and does not cover any damage caused by misuse, incorrect installation, neglect, accidents, abrasion, exposure to extreme temperatures, solvents, acids, water and normal wear and tear.

 

Assessment, Repair and/or Replacement of Your Product:

• Our warranty coverage extends nationwide across Australia. Should you encounter an issue, you're welcome to send your product back to A&B Motorsports Pty Ltd for an assessment and potential return.
• Please be aware that you are responsible for any expenses incurred in sending the product back to A&B Motorsports, which includes costs related to packaging, shipping, and any other relevant fees.
• To initiate a warranty claim, it's necessary to provide A&B Motorsports with the original purchase receipt.
• A&B Motorsports reserves the right to determine if the product's issue falls within the warranty terms. If the product is deemed eligible for warranty, we will inform you whether it will be repaired or replaced, with all related expenses covered by A&B Motorsports, including return shipping.
• For products outside of warranty as assessed by A&B Motorsports, any repairs, as well as associated shipping, taxes, or duties, will be the responsibility of the product owner.
• Please note that any repairs carried out by parties other than A&B Motorsports will result in the warranty becoming void.

 

Where this Warranty Does Not Apply:

• Damages to the product that are the result of misuse or actions deemed to be outside the scope of design for the product.
• Incidental and consequential damages as outlined under A&B Motorsports General Terms.
• Labour charges and/or any damages attributable to work performed by anyone other than A&B Motorsports.
• Warranty not transferable. Does not over second-hand products.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, any implied warranties are hereby excluded. This warranty is intended to give you specific legal rights. In addition to the rights described herein, you may also have other rights that vary from state to state or country to country with respect to the exclusion or application of implied warranties, incidental and consequential damages and repair and replacement. Consequently, the limitations or exclusions specifically contained in this warranty may not be applicable to you.

Modifications:

A&B Motorsports does not support or condone behaviour that is reckless, or in contradiction of safe road use in your Country, State or Territory.
A&B Motorsports will not be liable, responsible or accountable for any damage incurred as a result of behaviours or circumstances that are deemed to be reckless or are in contradiction of the road rules of the State or Territory in which these behaviours occur.
The Customer acknowledges that some modifications and installations of Goods, including suspension kit heights, exhaust note, and emissions may result in the Customer’s Vehicle being illegal to operate for road use in a State or Territory of Australia. The Customer acknowledges and confirms that they have undertaken their own investigation into the legality or otherwise of Goods, including suspension kit, exhaust systems, brake systems etc, with the relevant transport authority of the Customer’s respective State or Territory. The Customer indemnifies and holds A&B Motorsports harmless from and against any Claim because of the legality or otherwise of Goods installed or modified by A&B Motorsports.
